However, I wouldn't mind bringing in an older Damian eventually as a villainous character Jack has to deal with from time to time. I could see Damian filling the evil Batman role Jason played in Battle for the Cowl. As for the Bane thing, I have no problem with that. I think that was kind of his MO when he first debut, so with Bruce out of the way, I could easily see him moving in to become Gotham's crimelord.x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-21390715963196741312010-03-13T03:23:04.197-05:002010-03-13T03:23:04.197-05:00I like the idea of teaming them up, as well as the...I like the idea of teaming them up, as well as the family trouble with Tim and Jack, and Tim not trusting Jason. My question is, does Damian just not exist at all or has he just never been spoken of at this point of our version? Plus we both know Tim wouldn't want his son ANYWHERE near Jason, so that can be another story thread we can fool around with. How about we introduce Catwoman's daughter, Catgirl maybe(?), for the fifth arc. We can just rip stuff right from the Batman mythos with that, Catgirl can be a thief, Jack catches her, but she manages to convince him not to lock her up, which can be the start of her being a potential love interest. We could also toss in a c-lister like Mr. Freeze towards the end which would lead to Catgirl and Jack working together to take him out. If not, then I'm doing something REALLY wrong!

Yeah, that works pretty well for me. Maybe it could be something even more innocent like Joker falling out a window at Arkham(or where ever the big fight was)and Tim saving him by throwing him a batline which wraps around Joker's neck instead of arm or body. The sudden halt of Joker's momentum would snap Joker's neck, and with all the stuff Joker had been responsible for, it would look like Tim tried to hang him or something. Then like you said, it could be discovered that Joker stopped his own heart and was rescued by Harley or someone.x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-4180676393044447012010-03-10T01:39:15.049-05:002010-03-10T01:39:15.049-05:00This blog would be so famous after 29 years... Hel...This blog would be so famous after 29 years... Hell I'm sure Geoff would be an avid reader at that point.

You're right, I forgot that we still want Tim innocent. I like the idea of Tim trying to kill Joker out of fury but not doing it. Like doing a paralyzing move and at that point Joker, who's smarter than we give him credit for, could do something to stop his heart making it seem as if he's dead, thus locking up Tim. Then Joker recovers but is still paralyzed and enter the Lazarus pit. Sound cool?Jason Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796190974001777556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-16639441096031576132010-03-10T00:52:37.482-05:002010-03-10T00:52:37.482-05:00Man, if I'm STILL teasing you over that in 29 ...Man, if I'm STILL teasing you over that in 29 years time, then I'd be a REAL jerk! But on the bright side, that would mean this blog was still going strong!

That's the exact way it played out in my head. Jason hides critical info from Jack about Joker and winds up getting captured by Joker. Then we get Jack making the save which like you said, would bring the series full circle.

Yeah, the Joker being dead idea is kind of appealing, but then it raises the fact that Tim did actually kill Joker, and as such, Tim SHOULD be in prison... I just don't know if I'd want to turn Tim into a murderer, even if he was killing someone who completely deserved it, like Joker... That's why I'd go with the tamer, Joker is paralyzed story, since he'd still get tossed in the Lazarus Pit to heal his paralasis(plus comes out extra strong and crazy), and Tim could be released from custody at the end of the story, since he really didn't kill Joker. I don't know, do you really favor making Tim into a murderer?x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-47078860437209251702010-03-09T01:34:30.871-05:002010-03-09T01:34:30.871-05:00Just realized I'll be 49 then. Damn you X, make a screw up so I can tease you for the next thirty years about it :P

Yeah, I think Jason would definitely want to go after Joker, yet protect Jack, and I think Jack should end up saving Jason, kinda the reverse of what happens with Jack's first big fight, so it comes full circle.

Hm.. I like the idea of Joker being "dead", then he's put in a Lazarus pit by Harley. Then again maybe we should have it be Talia, saying with Bruce gone, and Dick Gone and Tim doing something Bruce wouldn't approve of by "killing" Joker, she made it right and gave him his life back. That seems crazy enough for Talia, and she has the resources unlike Harley. Plus you still get the more deranged Joker and he's stronger due to being in the Lazarus pit and pissed because he's died once.Jason Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796190974001777556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-60503448368312615012010-03-09T00:30:50.284-05:002010-03-09T00:30:50.284-05:00Yeah, SUUURE it was a joke, JT... Joke or not, yo...Yeah, SUUURE it was a joke, JT... Joke or not, you're right, you are going to pay for that for the rest of your days! In 2039 I'll still be teasing you over that one! :p

Well, you know that once Jason gets wind of Joker still being alive, he's going to want a big piece of him. I'd think Jason would want to keep Jack away from a battle against Joker, considering what Joker did to him... And yeah, my plan was always for Tim to get out of jail after Joker is revealed to be alive, I figure he'd be very over protective of Jack's crimefighting, just like his father was to him after he found out that Tim was Robin.

As for the Joker battle/reveal, there are a few problems I have with it, so I'll toss them your way. First off would be why did Joker fake his death/disappear for 16/17 years? I'd like to say that he had his neck broken by Tim and that's why everybody thought he was dead... Maybe his body could have gotten lost in a collapsing building or something where it was discovered by Harley or something... Maybe... We could always use the old Lazarus Pit excuse. Harley could have been searching the globe for a Lazarus Pit to toss Mista J into to heal his fractured body. That way Joker could come back more deranged and insane then before. I don't know, what have you got on Joker's return?x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-19064215159233472842010-03-08T02:26:06.993-05:002010-03-08T02:26:06.993-05:00Lol It was a joke, a joke I'm gonna pay for, f...Lol It was a joke, a joke I'm gonna pay for, for the rest of my days. *somber music* :P

I like the idea of leaving Joker cards around and such until he makes his main return. It sounds like the name of an Asian celebrity chef or something...

I'd actually be all right with dropping hints all throughout the first 25 issues concerning Joker. At first little things like finding Joker cards on dead bodies(so people could always think it was a copycat or something like that), before you start getting more Joker-iffic crimes like Joker gas being used on people, etc.

Arc 3 kind of writes itself I'd think. Your idea of portraying Jason as the possible Black Mask works out really well. I can see the climatic battle between Black Mask and Jack where Mask has total advantage of Jack and is ready to kill/unmask him and Jason pops in to save the day. Guys like Riddler and Freeze could either be saved for arcs down the road or be used as guys we see Jack defeating quickly, just to have a few random fight scenes in there.x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-65808179069731004202010-03-07T02:08:25.626-05:002010-03-07T02:08:25.626-05:00Lmao @ "Wooo baby, that some pretty sweet sto...Lmao @ "Wooo baby, that some pretty sweet storytelling! It almost makes me forget the whole Jason Man thing..." That had me laughing SO damn hard dude... classic

Well I can't let you come up with ALL the good ideas can I? I gotta do something over here. I like the idea of the fourth arc so we can so the double sized 25th issue. How do you feel about dropping a hint during the third arc? I can't think of anything that wouldn't be super obvious though.

So Arc one - Introduction, Arc two - Scarecrow and Apprentice, Arc three - Black Mask and Jason Speculation, Arc four - The Return of the Joker? So do you wanna flesh out more ideas for arc three? Also what do we wanna do with guys like The Riddler and Mr. Freeze?Jason Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796190974001777556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-46940229651234883122010-03-07T01:06:41.710-05:002010-03-07T01:06:41.710-05:00Wooo baby, that some pretty sweet storytelling! I...Wooo baby, that some pretty sweet storytelling! It almost makes me forget the whole Jason Man thing... I especially like the thing with Jason walking along his Cave(?)looking at his various costumes, stopping at the Black Mask mask to end the issue/arc. That leaves things SO open to interpetation. Plus the talk with Tim establishes to the slower fans/fans who don't know who Jason is that he might not be as trustworthy as he seems. Man, that DAMN good!

Yeah, that sounds good to me as well. The second arc seems like a good time to bring in some new characters, because the star and the secondary established characters have been established all ready during the first few issues. So when do you think we do the big, "Joker is still alive" reveal? I'm thinking the 4th or 5th storyarc. If it was the 4th storyarc, we could match the final issue of the Joker arc with the double-sized 25th issue.x-man75https://www.blogger.com/profile/10292719455945603075noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-77810320794690681782010-03-06T04:55:03.771-05:002010-03-06T04:55:03.771-05:00Alright, cool. How about the end of the first arc,...Alright, cool. How about the end of the first arc, Hush is defeated by Jack, we see Black Mask watching from afar on a monitor. We see Jack telling his father Tim about his exploits and how he was helped by the returning Jason Todd. Tim tells him not to trust Jason because he's betrayed them once. Last thing we see is Jason sitting down at his base (Todd-Cave?) lol. And he's looking at his Robin suit, then Red Robin suit, then his Red Hood Suit, Then the Black Mask...mask. So we leave them wondering is Jason Black Mask? Is he trying to lure Jack into a trap?

That way we establish that Jason may not be as good as he seems. We still have mystery surrounding him. in the next arc we can have him leave at certain times and never have him around when we show Black Mask. Also we can introduce the new Catwoman (Selina's daughter) and make the villain of this arc Scarecrow and his protege. Sound cool?Jason Toddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07796190974001777556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4006976666899639596.post-74069478729552974872010-03-06T01:10:05.627-05:002010-03-06T01:10:05.627-05:00Yeah, I really like Selina's daughter being Ja...Yeah, I really like Selina's daughter being Jack's Catwoman/Spoiler too.

Hmm, that's another good question. How's about I let you throw an idea out about ending the first arc, then we can put our heads together to put the finishing touches on it.
