New Teen Titans #20(May 1986)

This was sadly Jason's only time with the Teen Titans. Yet another missed opportunity if you ask me...

Batman #368(Feb. 1984)

Welcome to Jason Todd week, here at the always awesome Uncanny Comic Book Scans. Who is Jason Todd you ask? He was Batman's second Robin, a character who was never given a fair shake in the DCU during his short time as the Boy Wonder, and a character who is still being written terribly to this day.Wow, the original Tim Drake Robin outfit was actually pretty close to Jason's original costume...This was the first pre-Crisis appearance of Jason Todd as Robin. I kind of wonder if things would have been different if DC hadn't changed up his origin/how he became Robin and Dick Grayson's somewhat negative reaction to it post-Crisis...

X-Men #113(June 2001)

Come on, after tearing the metal out of Wolverine, you KNOW Magneto had this coming! That's it for Magneto week, next week will be... one of two DC characters... Who? Check back tomorrow night to find out!

Magneto: Dark Seduction #3(Aug. 2000)

Wow, my word of the day is DEFINITELY, "Pontificating"!

X-Men #-1(July 1997)

Ah how I loved the interaction between Professor Xavier and Magneto back before the x-titles fell completely apart...

Thursday, March 25, 2010

X-Force #25(Aug. 1993)

Umm yeah, seeing as that HALF of Cable's body is made out of metal, deciding to fight Magneto PROBABLY wasn't his smartest move... This was from the AWESOME Fatal Attractions x-over. Speaking of Fatal Attractions, my all-time favorite X-Men/Magneto battle took place during it. If you'd like to check some of that fight out, click here.

X-Men #1(Oct. 1991)

Besides the sweet Jim Lee artwork, I figured I'd post this scan because it's from THE very first comic book I ever brought.

Avengers West Coast #57(April 1990)

OK, I don't know if I should shake my head in disbelief or start laughing hysterically when Magneto says, "You make me sad, Iron Man.". WHAT kind of super-villain line is THAT?!?

Tuesday, March 23, 2010

Captain America #367(Feb. 1990)

This was by far my favorite super-villain showdown, because it made SO much sense when looking at the histories of both characters.

Sunday, March 21, 2010

Starman #38(Jan. 1998)

Hey look, it's Blue Devil and Firestorm talking about stuff! Ugh, that resounding thud was the sound of Firestorm week(mercifully!!!)coming to an end! I'm not 100% sure what Marvel character I'll be spotlighting for the upcoming week, but I'm sure it'll be better then Firestorm week was!

Final Night #3(Nov. 1996)

Ahh, the famous, "Yo--Firestorm!" magic spell... How very creative......

Friday, March 19, 2010

Underworld Unleashed #3(Dec. 1995)

Ouch, poor Firestorm... Why is he always getting impaled?

Thursday, March 18, 2010

Invasion! #2(1988)

First off, I LOVE that this mini-series was called, "Invasion!" with an exclamation point! But that's kind of besides the point... Anyway I've got to say, Firestorm sure seems to be quite the master of the obvious here...

Wednesday, March 17, 2010

Millennium #5(1987)

Umm, what the HELL is wrong with Guy Gardner and Firestorm here?!? All I can think is that they were handing out some heavy-duty drugs before this meeting...

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Crisis on Infinite Earths #8(Nov. 1985)

Don't worry, this is the last Crisis on Infinite Earths Firestorm post I'll be doing. Oh, and just in case you didn't know, this comic is also where Barry Allen didn't die!

Monday, March 15, 2010

Crisis on Infinite Earths #1(April 1985)

Yep, I've decided to go through with a Firestorm week... And what a way to kick it off! After checking out this pic, I've GOT to ask, what has happened to Killer Frost over the years?!?

Sunday, March 14, 2010

Nova #7(Nov. 1999)

Not even a Venom appearance could save this series from one of the fastest cancellations I've ever seen in a comic book(just 7 issues!). That's a wrap. Venom week is in the books. Next up is some DC character... I'm not sure who just yet...

Saturday, March 13, 2010

Darkhawk #36(Feb. 1994)

Huh, Venom sure did pop up in Darkhawk's series a lot...

Friday, March 12, 2010

Spider-Man Unlimited #2(Aug. 1993)

All right, now Venom week is REALLY starting to pick up! Venom vs Carnage? Yes please.

Thursday, March 11, 2010

Amazing Spider-Man #375(March 1993)

Hmm, considering this is the forth day of Venom week, I think it's more then about time for me to post a Venom/Spidey battle, don't you?

And of course, Happy Birthday, JT!!!

Wednesday, March 10, 2010

Darkhawk #14(April 1992)

Hmm, you know, in a psychotic sort of way, Venom makes a lot of sense here...

Web of Spider-Man Annual #8(1992)

You know what really makes this scene? That last little panel with Venom...

Monday, March 8, 2010

Quasar #6(Jan. 1990)

Why do I always seem to start every single one of my spotlights with the character I'm spotlighting getting beaten up?

Sunday, March 7, 2010

Wonder Woman #3(Oct. 2006)

Ugh... I think I speak for everybody here when I say, PLEASE shut-up Hercules! And that's it, Wonder Woman week is in the books. Next up, Venom week! And that's Eddie Brock, not that poser Mac Gargan!

Justice League of America #0(Sept. 2006)

I had to include SOMETHING from Brad Meltzer's fantastic JLA run during Wonder Woman week...

Saturday, March 6, 2010

Flash #219(April 2005)

Hmm, this is an interesting one... First off, Wonder Woman is blind. Then there's that other guy... Wally something. I guess he must not be all that important...

Thursday, March 4, 2010

Teen Titans #6(Feb. 2004)

I'd say a certain Tamarian is about to catch one hell of a beating here!

Wednesday, March 3, 2010

Wonder Woman #170(July 2001)

Full of... dung? That's not exactly the way I'd describe Lex, but to each his own I guess.

Oh, and Happy Birthday Falisha!

Tuesday, March 2, 2010

Green Arrow #4(July 2001)

Hmm, I didn't realize Wonder Woman was so impatient... Or prone to lop off the body parts of her teammates...

Monday, March 1, 2010

DC vs Marvel #3(April 1996)

Hmm, so Storm can defeat Wonder Woman... In other news, Hell has officially frozen over, and X-Man75 was elected undisputed King of the World in a landslide victory!
