X-Men #97(Feb. 2000)

Ugh, I'd almost forgotten the whole, "Apocalypse is a body snatcher" deal from the "Apocalypse: The Twelve" storyline. I sure hope that particular revelation was retconned... Well, that's it for Apocalypse week. Starting tomorrow, we begin Superboy week, 90's style!

The Age of Apocalypse: The Chosen #1(Apr. 1995)

Apocalypse, a tough, but fair overlord.

Saturday, January 30, 2010

X-Men #41(Feb. 1995)

And this one simple scene basically sets the stage for the greatest X-Event of all time, The Age of Apocalypse!

Cable #35(Sept. 1996)

Cable and Apocalypse hanging out together on the Astral Plane? Tres awesome!

Wednesday, January 27, 2010

Uncanny X-Men #295(Dec. 1992)

If you've never read the X-Cutioner's Song, then I'd strongly recommend you to do so... As soon as possible!

X-Factor #67(June 1991)

You know you're pure evil when you inject an incurable virus into an infant... Poor baby Cable...

The Flash #82(Oct. 1993)

Yee-Hah, ride 'em cowboy!!! Jeez, sorry... I don't know where THAT came from...

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

The Flash #34(Jan. 1990)

Man, fake Saint Barry sure is a jerk!

The Flash #29(Aug. 1989)

I like Merlyn as much as the next guy, but how stupid do you have to be to attack the Flash with a bunch of regular arrows?

Tuesday, January 19, 2010

The Flash #5(Oct. 1987)

Nowadays everybody knows Wally West as a responsible family man, but there was a time when he'd give Oliver Queen himself a run for the title of Biggest Man-Whore in the DCU!

Monday, January 18, 2010

Captain America #17(June 2006)

We end Captain America week with Cap bringing the pain to some poor schmucks. This coming week will be dedicated to the fastest man alive, The Flash! And for the record, I mean Wally West, NOT Barry Allen!

Sunday, January 17, 2010

Captain America #5(May 2005)

How could I have a Captain America week without including something from his World War II days?

Saturday, January 16, 2010

Captain America #422(Dec. 1993)

So Cap couldn't chase down a speeding van... Well what do you want from the guy, he's over 90 years old!

Wednesday, January 13, 2010

Captain America #308(Aug. 1985)

This scene does a magnificent job of capturing the essence of Cap and Hawkeye's relationship. And yes Mockingbird, Cap most definitely is "it" as far as I'm concerned as well.

Monday, January 11, 2010

Captain America #169(Jan. 1973)

Jeez, Cap was pretty crazy back in the 70's... Screaming at store windows, talking to himself, scaring the public... Calm down Cap!

Nightwing #133(Aug. 2007)

What better way to end Nightwing week then by showing Nightwing at his best, beating down some losers? Starting tomorrow: Captain America week!

Sunday, January 10, 2010

Nightwing #120(July 2006)

You didn't think I'd do a Nightwing week without posting SOMETHING with Jason Todd in it, did you?

Saturday, January 9, 2010

Nightwing #115(Feb. 2006)

Yeah, I know this is supposed to be Nightwing week, but I can never resist putting up a scan with Deathstroke in it!

Friday, January 8, 2010

Thursday, January 7, 2010

Wednesday, January 6, 2010

Nightwing #31(May 1999)

Am I the only one a little bit weirded out by the fact that Nightwing wears Batman boxers under his uniform?

Tuesday, January 5, 2010

Nightwing #14(Nov. 1997)

What better way to start Nightwing week off then by posting two pages of Dick admonishing Bruce? I don't know what I like more about this scene, the fact that Dick actually tells Bruce off for a change, or Bruce's meek reaction to it!

A slight change of plans...

As I'm sure anybody who has been to this blog recently may have noticed, there has been a severe lack of pictures on a blog that claims to provide just that! The reason for this lack of new material is pretty much due to laziness on my behalf. Well, laziness along with the fact that this blog has never really had any form or structure, which made it kind of tough to upkeep. However, those days of sloth and disorganization are over! From this point forward(or at least until I get tired of this blog again!)I plan on starting a weekly comic book theme. That way I can just scan 7 related comics at once and post one pic a night. That should keep me interested in keeping this blog going for the time being. So, starting tomorrow night, get ready for 7 days worth of... Nightwing! Why Nightwing? Well, number one, I have A LOT of Nightwing comics, and number two, I'm a big fan of the original Robin, so he seemed like the perfect character to relaunch this blog with. That's it for now, thanks for sticking around, and Long Live The Legion!
