Let's see here......

Um, so I see this blog is still around... Weird. I guess I should probably do SOMETHING with it...

The problem with having two blogs, with one being dedicated to pictures, is that you're only alloted so much space for images by Blogger and I've yet to find a FREE picture hosting site that can store all of my images... Since I always pair an image with any comic book review I do on my main blog(X-Man's Comic Blog!) , that takes away from my Blogger image hosting space. In other words, if I started posting all sorts of images here too, I'd end up running out of room for images rather quickly...

Luckily though, I've posted TONS of images over at my main blog(hundreds? thousands?!), many that probably haven't been seen by my newer readers. So in order to keep this blog going I'm simply going to recycle my older images from the main blog here. I mean they've been over there for like 3 years, so by this point they're practically new! I'll just add a new caption and presto, instant new post for THIS blog! I was always told recycling was good, so it MUST be good for blogs too, right?

Uncanny Comic Book Scans: Rebirth!

That's right, Uncanny Comic Book Scans is BACK! New look, new pictures, new theme, same old X! The new UCBS will be bringing you all of the images of comic book characters making out that you could ever want... And then some!! But this blog isn't about words, it's about pictures, so let me wrap this up. As always, questions/comments/recommendations are appreciated, and don't forget to visit my main blog(X-Man's Comic Blog) for all of your comic reviewing needs/nonsensical ramblings. A slight change of plans...

As I'm sure anybody who has been to this blog recently may have noticed, there has been a severe lack of pictures on a blog that claims to provide just that! The reason for this lack of new material is pretty much due to laziness on my behalf. Well, laziness along with the fact that this blog has never really had any form or structure, which made it kind of tough to upkeep. However, those days of sloth and disorganization are over! From this point forward(or at least until I get tired of this blog again!)I plan on starting a weekly comic book theme. That way I can just scan 7 related comics at once and post one pic a night. That should keep me interested in keeping this blog going for the time being. So, starting tomorrow night, get ready for 7 days worth of... Nightwing! Why Nightwing? Well, number one, I have A LOT of Nightwing comics, and number two, I'm a big fan of the original Robin, so he seemed like the perfect character to relaunch this blog with. Labor Day treat!

With Labor Day coming up Monday I figure I'll celebrate it by posting not two scans, not three scans, but four scans every night until Labor Day! Why? I don't know, why not? How's that for an answer!
