How this guy didn't end up in the Justice League of Earth with Earthman I'll never know... Then again he could be the Post-Zero-Hour Legion version of Chorophyll Lad or something like that.
Maybe with his awesome Fruit Ripening power he could threaten to overripen the Earth's fruit, which if space-trade was cut off would make the world suffer a horrible outbreak of scurvy. (Except for vitamen pills... er I guess even Earthman couldn't use this guy...)
