Weird, just weird...

I'm almost at a loss for words here... I know this is supposed to be a serious couple of panels(I think...), but Booster Gold, Blue Beetle and Fire are probably not the heroes I'd have tabbed to have a serious discussion on AIDS.

  1. Really, Ted and Booster were the ones they wanted to use to promote AIDS awareness? Why not just use Laurel and Hardy? Thats all they were in the JLI...

Also, why does Fire know so many Assasins/Models with AIDS?

I also strongly suspect that since Booster is from the 25th century AIDS really isn't a problem by then. He's probally had enough vaccinations to make him immune to any mere 20th/21st Century STDs.

Way to date the comic in the 80s/90s...

  2. Yeah, I mean, when I think "serious comic book characters" Booster and Beetle may be the LAST two guys who come to mind!

And let that be a lesson to you, stay away from Assassins/models!
