Human Torch and Namorita.

  1. Is this Jae Lee art? What's it from? My guess would be Fantastic Four 1234, but not sure.

  2. I'd like to say this was from the short-lived Human Torch comic from a few years back, but I'm not 100% sure, Marc. I'll have to go searching around to see if I can figure out just where this scan came from.

  3. Hmm, could be! I never read the one. I remember Skottie Young did the covers for it, but it's hard to tell if this is his work in the actual comic. Let me know when you find out!

  4. I finally found it! This scene came from Human Torch #11. Pencils were done by Howard Porter with inks by Norm Rapmund. I know Skottie Young worked on that book(and one of his designs from that series actually made it into the Marvel: Ultimate Alliance game), but I guess he didn't stick with the book until the end.

  5. Interesting. Do you remember how good the series was overall?

  6. Hmm... This was before I got into DC, back when I'd buy ANYTHING with the Marvel logo on it. I don't remember NOT liking it, but I can't say I remember being blown away by it either. It's been quite a while since I read those comics...
