Lord Summers and Her...

Yes, that's actually Cyclops and Emma Frost, but I prefer Lord Summers and Her. Trust me, "Her" is way nicer than the things I'd rather call Emma!

  5. HA! That's the EXACT reason right there! Having cheated on my favorite X-Woman, Emma AND Lord Summers deserve each other... as well as a good stabbing from Wolverine as well!

  7. Given how you feel, why post that picture in its unaltered state then?

    Masochistic tendencies perhaps?

Or keeping the fire burning white hot? ;)

  8. Nope, it's definitely masochistic tendencies... That's the only reasonable explanation. I mean seriously, I buy a whole mess of comics that I KNOW are going to anger me practically every week, so deep down, I must like it... I'm messed up! :P

I still don't get why I can post comments to my other blog under my profile, but not this one... Strange...

  9. Okay, hear this from a guy who followed the evolution of Emma Frost as a character: THIS IS NOT EMMA FROST! the real deal Emma has been squashed by quesada in generation X 75, since then we had Paris Hilton with a fake ID.

read Generation X & I swear to god guys,Morrison Emma is not as awesome as Gen X Emma. The former is just unlikeable cliched bitchy jean rival (how…neat..) while the latter is a classy, calculating , Subtle cold, independent, frightening ( the way she got rid of her sister or the detective was just scary…) & charismatic antiheroin who would never be the 2 dollar whore marvel keeps shoving down our throats)

I agree with your disgust, man ! this is not how you develop a character!

  10. I own and have read the full Gen X run(which was a great for the most part), and have to agree with you here, Saidi... I think you hit the nail right on the head. Morrison wanted a character for his love triangle storyline, a wedge to drive between Scott and Jean. It seems like he randomly picked Emma because she was a good looking blond. The Emma from Gen X, and the Emma we got in the Morrison run WAY different. With that said, it annoys me that no writer since has tried to "fix" Emma's image and take her back to her proper roots...

  11. What comic was this from? And ditto on the Gen X vs. now Emma...I really wish that the cold calculating Emma would show up more often :(

  12. I'm pretty sure this scene came from Namor Annual #1 from earlier this year... But I MAY be wrong there... I'd say I'm about 85% sure that's where this image came from, and those are pretty good odds! :D

  13. I am glad you take pride in what you write. This makes you stand way out from many other writers that push poorly written content.
