  1. That was awesome X-Man!! Thank you so much. Those Bizarro pics were especially cool, but I think the Thor scenes were my favorites. Iron Man calling Thor "fella" really takes me back to when Tony Stark was more of a peripheral character. Those were the days!

Did you spend a lot of time digging for these, or were they pretty clear in your head before you found them all? There are some pretty distinct scenes here.

  2. Glad you enjoyed 'em Kello! With the recommendations from you, Robert and Matthew, it really wasn't all that hard to find the pics I wanted to scan. It probably took me 15-20 minutes tops to find the books I wanted, it took WAY longer to actually get them scanned and posted though.

Some things I knew I had to post, like the last pic(which still gives me goosebumps to this day!)or Adam Kubert's AWESOME destroyed Metropolis pic from the Action Annual. Then there were some things that I'd completely forgotten about, like Flash beating the hell out of Mongul right around the time Mongul had owned both Supes and Hal, and Thor's hilarious insults towards the reporters("Thou art jackals! Jackals and Troll-Rats!")frigging hilarious!!!

Hey, if ever you want me to post something specific, ask away! Although it took me longer than I thought it would to get this post up, I definitely had a good time doing it.

  4. WOW! You did an amazing job here, X-Man. Thanks for taking the time to find some Spectre, Deathstroke, and Angel images from your vast collection!

As we've discussed plenty of times before, Last Will and Testament is an awesome Deathstroke story, and the page you posted definitely shows why Adam Kubert is one of the best artistic storytellers in the industry.

Oh, and the image that shows Angel becoming "whole" again is absolutely breathtaking. Thanks a lot, man!

  5. Thanks Robert! Yeah, the "reborn Angel" pic was pretty sweet. I wanted to find a better "angry Archangel" pic than I posted(the one from Uncanny #286)but I couldn't find what I was looking for. Damn, you know, I just thought of a great Archangel pic! I'll have to post it tonight!

Anyway, the Spectre pic actually took me the longest to find. For some reason, DC really writes him weakly. I hate to say it, but it's way easier to find pics of the Spectre getting beaten up then it is to see him doling out some righteous vengeance!

Same as with Kello, if you've got a hankering for a certain type of pic, drop me a line and I'll see what I can dig up!

  7. I've got to try to post more AOA stuff, maybe some of the more obscure stuff, like the Chosen or Chronicles and Universe.
