Batman: The Dark Knight Strikes Again TPB(2002)

"Bunky"? "Dickster"? "Bobbin"?!? Did those three words actually come out of Batman's mouth!?!

  3. Worst comic you've ever read status? You should do a best of/worst read of the year column. If you don't already.

  4. Oh yeah, I'd def call B:TDKSB one of THE worst comics I've EVER read, and that's really saying something!

Wait til the end of Dec. I've got a few big things planned. I'm def going to do a best of the year type column(I'm pretty sure I did one last year)and if I'm feeling really ambitious, I've been toying with a best of the DECADE post, since we're moving into 2010. Doing a best of the decade post would be really tough though, but with school letting out soon, I might have the time to really go all out on the blog come late dec.

  5. Hm...I'd be interested in a list of your worst comics of all time, just outta curiousity.

Awesome, Can't wait to see what you got planned. If you need any help on anything (which I doubt but I'll offer anyway) I'll gladly help. I got a ton of free time, and like nine eps. of Smallville left.

  6. Maybe during the holidays I'll try to put together a worst of the worst list, time/energy permitting. Thanks for the offer man. If I could think of something, trust me, I'd be coming to you now! Once school lets out, I'm probably going to start putting together my end of the year/decade lists. Hopefully I'll have them done by, you know, the end of the year!

  7. No problem at all X. That's cool though, hope you get a chance to finish everything. Besides Comics, movies and the newly bought Uncharted 2 I could use something else to do, lol.

I'm guessing Dark X-Men will top your list though.

  8. You picked up Uncharted 2? Awesome. Let me know if it's as awesome as everybody says it is.

Nah, probably not. As big a fan of Nate Grey as I am, Dark X-Men #1 was def not the best thing I've read this year. It probably wouldn't even place in the top 20. It was prob the comic I was happiest to read, but I can't say it was the best.

  9. Dude it's SO awesome. Better than the first one and that one ruled. Like it's honestly so good I'm predicting another playthrough as soon as I finish this current one.

I'm glad your favorite character didn't influence that as your best read. Actually I'm curious to what your best read is.

  10. Yeah, I guess that'll be another game I put on the list of stuff I REALLY want to buy but can't afford! After all the $ I spent on trades, it's going to be a good long while before I'm able to buy myself a new game...

I'm curious as to what my favorite issue this year was as well! Before I do my year in review post, I've got some serious thinking to do.

  11. Games are so expensive too nowadays dude. I got it from that trade site I told you about, only spent 38 bucks on it. Much better than the 55 Gamestop wants for a used game.

Hm...You've got some hard work ahead of you sir, gonna be hard to pick. This was a pretty good year for comics...then again I read so many this year I don't even remember what dropped this year and what came out in 06.

  12. "Games are so expensive too nowadays dude." Amen! $60 for a new game is just crazy. Whatever happened to the days you could get a new game for $40?

Yeah, that's my exact problem. When you read SO many comics over the course of a month/year, it's tough to remember what was new, and what was a back issue. I'll probably just go month by month on my blog one day starting at January to jog my memory as to what came out this year. The stuff I remember being good, I'll prob pull back out and re-read. I figure that's probably better then relying on my memory.

  13. Exactly man. Remember Gameboy games were like thirty bucks?! What happened man? I'm not looking forward to how expensive games will be by the time I have kids and their playing PS6.

Pretty clever. I like the idea of having a record of what you've read. I really wanna start a new blog or revive Batmania. I think I may at the beginning of the new year to Jumpstart it. We were mainly just reviewing all the Batman comics there though.

  14. Yeah man, why not do your own best/worst of the year thing over at the Batmania blog or a new blog? If you did start a new blog, with all the comics you read, you could cherry pick what you wanted to take the time to review. You know you'd have at least one follower in me.

  15. Thanks dude, I talked about this with my girlfriend earlier too, now I just gotta decide what I wanna name the new one. Any ideas? Jason Todd's (red) Hood...lol

  16. Hey, you know, I REALLY like Jason Todd's Hood. See, my only thing is that when I named both my blogs, I wanted to make sure that people knew they were comic book blogs, that way I could try to attract as many fellow comic fans as I possibly could. By naming the blog after Jason Todd, you should be able to snag any body who happens to search for JT on Google. That's prob my best advice to you, make sure whatever you name the blog, people know it's def a comic book blog, or else they might just skip/ignore it.

  17. Good advice man thanks. I May go with Jason Todd's Red Hood or Jason Todd's Comic Spot or something like that. Don't wanna seem like I'm ripping off your name lol.

  18. Hey, you def wouldn't be ripping off my name or anything like that. I don't hold any copyrights or anything like that over at my blog, so go with whatever you like man!
