The Flash: The Fastest Man Alive #11(June 2007)

I think it's way past time for another Inertia post on this blog. DC, bring back Inertia!!!

  1. I miss Inertia. Someone bring this man back ASAP, because he's the best teen villain around.

  2. The dude would be a perfect villain in the Teen Titans comic. He's got brains, leadership skills and powers. What more do you want from a villain?

  3. He'd definitely take the mantle from Slade as a fantastic Titan villain, and they could definitely use some. Plus imagine Bart heading the team against Inertia.

  4. Bart leading the Teen Titans vs an Inertia led team of evil teen villains would be all kinds of awesome. Just add Geoff Johns and it would probably be amongst my favorite stories ever!

  5. Geoff could definitely write that, but if you had to choose would you rather have Geoff, Meltzer or James Robinson?

  6. Wow, I'd take any of them. That's a REALLY tough decision. If I was absolutely forced to choose though, I think I'd probably go with Geoff. I'm not really sure how James would do with a team comic, besides his current run on JLA, I can't think of any other team book he's worked on by himself, and Brad might be just a bit too mature for a teen book. That's not to say he wouldn't produce some awesome stories, but I don't know that him nor DC would want him doing the Teen Titans. Nope, Geoff would be my man.

  7. Geoff is the definite Go-to guy for comics. I agree that Brad may be too much for a teenage based book because he's known to do more mature things. I haven't read alot of James Robinson but what I have read has been pretty good but I think I agree with you.

Geoff Johns is a hell of a writer man, I know he could make a great story, and if he brought in SB Prime I'd love that, but it'd have to be a less powerful SBP because that dude could beat the Teen Titans by himself.

  8. I don't know, I think Geoff could actually put Prime against the Titans as long as Bart is a member of the team. Prime does have that weird case of Bart-phobia, so I could see a pretty sweet battle between the Teen Titans and Prime, since Bart's presence would/could/should keep Prime off his game long enough to give the Titans a chance.
