Marvel Nemesis: The Imperfects #4(Oct. 2005)

I'm sorry, but I've got to ask, what the flaming HELL was Marvel thinking when they came up with the Imperfects?!?! Not only was the mini-series bad, the video game was even worse!

  1. Honestly, even though it sucked, I kinda liked that game. I still gotta get JLHeroes though.

  2. Oh man, I HATED that game! That's prob because I was a rabid, diehard Marvel fan at the time and I was royally pissed off that half the roster for that game was wasted on nobody characters from some lousy mini-series. Instead of adding these Imperfect jokers, I would have MUCH rather had 10-12 more Marvel characters in the game.

That's kind of my complaint with MK vs. DC. Instead of the MK guys, I would have much rather played a fighting game with only DC characters. Make a MK game AND a DC game. I prob only played as Sub Zero and Scorpion from the MK side.

  3. I agree, I hated how you virtually played the same levels with different people, but I liked the whole if a character loses their "gone" concept.

I agree once again, If I could take all those MK dudes out and add Harley (who was gonna be DLC), Nightwing, Black Adam and a few other DC People that'd be awesome.

  4. Oh man, the very prospect of playing as Black Adam would rule all. It's too bad the fatalities were so watered down, 'cause BA would have some AWESOME fatalities!

  5. I can see him ripping people in half like on 52. Oh man, Imagine getting to play as Superboy Prime. Dude that'd be SO awesome.

Yeah I hated that the fatalities were all spliced up, seems like it would've been even more awesome to see people do some mindblowing fatalities.

  6. The watered down fatalities pissed me off like crazy! And that was all DC too. They told Midway that the game had to be rated T. What the hell? It's not like the DCU is the fricking Magic Kingdom! In just the past few years, we've got Dr. Light raping Sue Dibny, Black Adam tearing people in half(on TV!), Prime decapitating ex Teen Titans, Wonder Woman twisting Maxwell Lord's head all the way around and Ted Kord getting his brains blown out! DC can be VERY hypocritical sometimes...

  7. Lmao, thats so true. But of course DC thinks oh a game is mainstream for kids. They aren;t reading our comics, they just know Batman from Brave and The Bold and the Justice League from the cartoon on Cartoon Network. I agree though, VERY hypocritical, why make it if you're not gonna make it right?

  8. Ha, yeah DC, sure no kids are reading your comic books... Sure... They just watch the cartoons and play the video games, but they never bother to read the comics until they're like 16 years old... What a crock!

Your last line is my exact thought on the matter. Perfectly put my friend.

  9. Thank you good sir. I almost wish they released two versions, one with a Mature rating and one with a Teen rating, but of course someone would buy their kid the mature one by mistake then complain and blah blah blah. Now we have to suffer.

  10. The two version idea is a good one, but like you said, somebody would of course be up in arms when their kid wound up with the M version. It's a frigging video game people!

  11. There are so many more violent things on TV, hell Power Rangers used to have people in guns shooting one another EVERY EPISODE. Ninja turtles had big frigging mutant Turtles running around with weapons stabbing ninjas...yet I can't get Superman to punch someone's head off in a game that's had people burn to death and be eaten by Dragons.
