Ya know I didn't mind this series. I just enjoyed seeing Pietro act like a little turd for most of it. However I will say that it grew increasingly old after the series and confusing in regards to his powers. At some point he apparently regained his super-speed so I guess this book was a wash.
I've always been a fan of Pietro, so I also got a kick out of this series. One of my favorite parts of this mini was when Spider-Man inadvertently pushed Pietro into attempting suicide. I'd figure that anybody who was stuck listening to Spidey for too long would undoubtedly try to kill themselves as well!
I think(and I could be VERY wrong here)Pietro regained his powers in a one-shot called "X-Factor: The Quick and the Dead". For the life of me I can't remember how, but I think it was in that comic. Maybe one of these years I'll dig that comic out to see exactly what happened.
