  1. NICE!!! Note to self...sexy women in Fishnets can pack a punch.

  2. Women in fishnets are the most dangerous women of all! That's one sweet right hook!

  3. I don't think I've seen Wonder Woman hit that hard...also why don't more DC Women wear fishnets...or whatever the hell it is that Starfire wears.

  4. "Women in fishnets are the most dangerous women of all!"

I second that! I have experience!

  5. You and me both Matthew!!! Zatanna also rocks the fishnets, I really can't think of any others though... You've got to wonder exactly how Starfire gets into/out of that outfit of hers!

  6. I know I'd like to find out... lol. Speaking of Zee, anyone notice how she's in everything Dini writes, with the exception of Arkham Asylum. I know he loves her character and his wife is a Magician but man...sometimes it's annoying how he always works her into a story.

  7. No kidding?!? I had no idea that Paul's wife was a magician! You've got to be joking right? That's frigging hilarious!

Well, you know that some writers really tend to play favorites with certain characters... The worst case I can think of is Chris Claremont and Kitty Pryde... Any X-title he works on he ALWAYS has Kitty in it, and he always writes her as practically unbeatable! It's the same thing with Chris Yost and X-23. I actually hate X-23 because of the way Yost is always shoving her down everybody's throats.

  8. Yeah his wife is a Magician from here, here being Michigan of course :) Lol.

And yeah, thats how Dini is...I've literally got like 3 tpb's on my book shelf by him, Batman Private Casebook, Batman Detective, and another I cant think of and ALL of them have Zatanna. Hell She's in issue 3 of Streets of Gotham and issue 1 of Gotham City Sirens.

  9. Lol, and apparently people make comments that she looks like Zatanna.

  10. Wow, now it's a little bit creepy! I can almost see Paul walking into his home with a bag full of Zatanna type clothes. I can see it now... "Aw, come on honey, put the top hat on for me. The outfit isn't complete without the top hat!" It's one thing to like a comic book character, it's another thing to try to marry one!

  11. Lmao, exactly, I think Starfire is hot but you don't see me looking for a long haired, six foot, huge breasted orange chick. I think Power Girl is hot but you dont see me looking for an extremely huge breasted blonde chick...well I was before I met my girlfriend, but not anymore lol.

  12. "I think Starfire is hot but you don't see me looking for a long haired, six foot, huge breasted orange chick." HA! That would be a really tough woman to find!

  13. Lol If I was determined enough don't think I wouldn't look. But yeah, kinda odd for Dini...I bet he dreamed of marrying Zee as a kid.

  14. Well good for him in marrying his comic book fantasy woman I guess!

  15. Yeah, some guys get all the luck. I bet theres some hidden Zatanna reference in Arkham somewhere.

    ReplyDelete
  16. If there was I'd think one of the two of us would have found it by now!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Unless...you can only find it by playing the game on two TV screens side by side. Dun dun dunnnn!!!

    ReplyDelete
  18. Wow, now that would be a WELL hidden reference then!

  19. If you rearrange the letters of Arkham Asylum it spells Zatanna in like...pig latin or something.

    ReplyDelete
  20. Ha, yeah, if you take the third letter in the names of all of the characters in the game it spells out "I love Zatanna"!

    ReplyDelete
  21. Lol that would'nt surprise me. So what are your favorite things about Arkham?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Well, right off the bat I'd say the combat system. I love the way Batman fights like you'd expect him to. He's prob the top fighter in the DCU, and in Arkham, he fights like it. Hitting 30+ combos on Joker's goons always makes my day. Besides that, the story was really well done. I was blown away by the story actually. Then there was the voice acting, the fact that they managed to get many of the people who did voice work for the Batman Animated Series was like the icing on the cake, Mark Hamill's Joker voice/laugh is perfect. Jeez, what's not to like about that game?

  23. True, alot of people didn't like the ending but I loved it, it made sense for the characters, and thats all that matters. Stay true to the characters. And I'm at the point where If Its not Hamill as Joker in something Cartoon/Game based I don't wanna hear it. I HATE when other people voice Joker in cartoons, just because I'm so accustom to it now, I know he's not gonna do it forever but what can ya do, I'm the same way about Hamill and Sorkin. And yeah the fighting is awesome, I'm really happy with the final product.

If Eidos made another game based on a Hero besides Bats, who do you think they could do justice as? I feel like they could make a really good Spiderman game, they already got alot of the basics down, web slinging and grappling are somewhat similar, and Spidey isn't as trained as Bats but he also fights rather freeflow style.

  24. I liked the ending, especially the part after the credits(?)with Scarecrow... Setting up the sequel hopefully?

A Spidey game would feel too similar to Arkham, I'd rather have Arkham 2 then a similar Spidey game. How about a GL game? GL's been getting pretty big lately, why not a GL video game. I'd also love a Flash game, but I don't know how you could get the speed down properly. Of course a regular Justice League game would work too, I wouldn't mind a sequel to JLH.

  25. You know there are multiple endings right? I believe its random and it doesnt have to do with level difficulty but you either get Scarecrow, Croc, or Bane's hand grabbing the box of Titan. I've gotten both Scarecrow and Croc after beating the game but not Bane.

I also would like a Justice League game or GL, Flash seems like it would be hard for them to do with the speed aspect, I never got to play JLH but always wanted to, and now I cant play it because I sold my PS2 and cant play PS2 games on my PS3. Lame!!!

  26. Wow, I didn't know that about the multiple endings! I only ever got the Scarecrow one.

That sucks about your PS3, I thought they were supposed to be totally backwards compatable? I know mine is, but I picked up one of the very early PS3's. If you want to play the best version of JLH, I'd recommend the PSP version, they have a few extra throw-in characters then the PS2 version for some reason.

  27. Yeah, I got mine earlier this year, basically if yours has 4 USB slots its Backwards compatible, if it only has two, like mine, It can only play PS1 and PS3 games, because apparently the hardware was expensive so they stopped adding it. I may have to borrow my niece's PSP and rent JLH.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Huh, I didn't know that about the PS3's... It seems so strange that you can play games from 1 & 3 but not 2! I know not everyone was a fan of JLH, but there was a pretty good roster and the gameplay was fun, it was def better then MK vs DC!

    ReplyDelete
  29. I like MK vs. DC but only when I could play against other people and not the computer, and all I did was pick the DC people, and maybe Scorpion or Sub-Zero. It could've been better though. Im really contemplating borrowing someone PS2 or buying one off craigslist to play JLH. I also have NBA Street Vol. 2 and I wanna play that some more.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Yeah, all I did was play as the DC guys in DC/MK too! I wish they would have just put out two seperate games, a DC one and a MK one instead of mixing the two. That way we could have wound up with 15-20 more DC characters.

I actually want to buy like a whole mess of PS3 games, Sept-Nov there seem to be some awesome games coming out. Uncharted 2, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, NHL 10, Raw/Smackdown 10, and I'm sure a few I'm forgetting. I'm still playing Civ: Rev daily, I'm completely addicted to that game!

  31. I also wish that, I saw they cancelled the DLC but it was supposed to include Harley which would've been awesome. I'd love an all DC version or a Sweet Marvel Vs. DC version.

I want Uncharted 2 But I cant afford it right now, all my money is going towards SVR 2010, I'll definitely have to play you online or tag up sometimes. I keep forgetting to add ya on PSN...actually Ill do it right now.
