I enjoyed the main house of m mini series from Bendis, unfortuately I thought nearly every tie-in was horrendous, especially the uncanny x-men one. BUT did you check out the House of M - Civil war mini series last year? that wasnt bad.
Damn, I'd almost forgotten about that atrocity Matthew! I don't know what the hell Chris Claremont was thinking with that x-over, but like you said, it was TERRIBLE! I should dig that out and give it a re-read just for laughs!
Yeah, I did read that HoM mini, and I also enjoyed it. House of M may be the best thing BENDIS ever wrote actually. I just wish it would have ended differently...
I enjoyed HoM right up until the end, because of what it set in motion, namely Decimation. But I'm a sucker for alternate reality stories, so that explains my enjoyment of HoM.
You know what? For the most part I actually enjoyed the "House of M" storyline! Shocking, no?
