New Warriors Annual #4(1994)

Ah the New Warriors... They really deserved a better fate then the one they received during the awful Civil War storyline.

  1. Oh no you didn't Kello! I'm the(kind of)proud owner of the entire New Warriors series! I even have the lesser known New Warriors series' that followed the original(and became progressively worse!).

And for the record, 1,000 points to you for the American Gladiators reference. I used to LOVE that show as a kid!

  2. I have a few big memories of doing things with my dad as a kid, and one of them was seeing American Gladiators live at the Breslin Center at Michigan State University.
And for the record, my family also went to see Milli Vanili there. Hahaha, maybe this is why I don't go out and do things.

  3. p.s. I do think Firestar, Speedball, and Justice are pretty cool.

  4. Kello, I don't even know what to say! Not about the Gladiators thing, because I'll readily admit to being a huge fan of AG, as a kid I would have loved to have gone to see AG. That must have been a blast. But Milli Vanili?!?! And here I thought my taste was bad! ;)

See, there was some good that came out of New Warriors. The first 25-40 issues were really pretty good, after Fabian Nicieza left the series things took a nosedive though.

  5. Milli Vanilli- In my defense, I was about 7 years old, I went with my mom, dad, and brother (one of my few memories of all of us doing something together),and I remember MV doing this pretend sword fight (which I of course thought was real) and then I fell asleep during their first song. Hahaha, I can't believe the noise didn't keep me awake.
Oh well, I'll just blame it on the rain...

  6. "Oh well, I'll just blame it on the rain..." UGH!!!!!

Well, I don't think I can razz you too much about something you did when you were 7. The key words in that last sentence would be "too much" though!
