So Ollie dies in an airplane explosion near Metropolis. All of his former teammates and friends get together in the back room of Guy Gardner's bar and reminisce, but NONE of them think to inform Dinah as to Ollie's fate! That task ultimately fell to Ollie's son Connor(who hadn't even met Dinah!), as seen here.
Wow, Ollie's got some really jerk friends...
ReplyDeleteOllie and Dinah were together like FOREVER... I thought it was horrible that nobody thought about Dinah. It's funny, after the party breaks up, Supes and Guy Gardner are hanging out on a rooftop talking and Supes says something like, "Wait, did anybody tell Dinah?" I mean, REALLY?!? All I can think is that maybe it was one of those deals where Roy thought Supes told her, and Supes thought Bats told her, and Bats thought Roy told her, etc.
ReplyDeleteLmao @ that. Wait did anyone tell Dinah? I didn't see her over there drinking wine coolers?! That's bull lol, someone should've told her and the son shouldn't been the one, if anyone it should've been Hal or Bruce.
ReplyDeleteHal was dead at the time, it should've been Roy really... Well done you asses...
ReplyDeleteI always liked the art on Green Arrow during that era.
ReplyDeleteWell damn, either Ollie didn't talk Dinah up enough for them to care or they really are just some punk ass men. :| Scuse my language. ^_^ lol
ReplyDeleteI've got to agree with Nagash on this one, it REALLY should have been Roy who broke the news to Dinah. She was there for him when he needed her, he should have been there for her. But Roy's appearance(or lack there of)was probably the thing that bothered me the most about this comic. Roy pops up for one panel, says he wants to speak(at the party/wake)and then the scene shifts away, so we never find out what Roy had to say... I'd have really liked to have seen what Roy had to say about Ollie.
