Green Arrow #32(May 1990)

I wonder how many times Ollie has said those very words to Dinah...

  1. Wooo Black Canary week!!! And I'm sure he'll say it again by the end of Rise and Fall...

  2. Lol I swear I was going to type "Wooo Black Cananery Week" Great minds think alike.

But, what I like about this scan is in just this one page, you can see Dinah cares about Ollie the no good bachelor. Lol. If I was Dinah I would've left his ass alone a long time ago. BC would've just been solo in the DC universe if it was up to me lol.

And also, "Rambitch" like, lol who says stuff like that. Classic.

  3. "And I'm sure he'll say it again by the end of Rise and Fall..." Ha! That is SO true JT!

Yeah Falisha, that's the thing I'll never get about BC, she deserves so much better then that dog Ollie...

One of the reasons I posted that page was because of "Rambitch"! I mean really, "Rambitch"?!?

  4. Some women stick with men for whatever reason they have. Lol. But it worked out for the best...I think. Lol.

And sir that being one of the reasons is good enough for me. Lol. Men fear BC! They better!

  5. Lol Rambitch, I almost like that as much as Lobo's Bastich.

  6. Did it really work out for the best though? Even after coming back from the dead, Ollie had at least one affair that I can remember off the top of my head, I think with Black Lightning's niece, so yeah, he came back to life and was still fooling around on poor Dinah!

It's funny you mention Lobo, JT, because as I'm sure I've mentioned before, I've been reading through the old LEGION series and Lobo is all over that comic. I do have to say though, I think I'd like him a little bit more if he'd actually curse like a normal person instead of that Bastich business...

  7. :( I wouldn't know sir. I'm not an avid GA reader. Lol. I'll take your word for it though. Ollie is no good. :| I wonder if they'll split those two up in the future. :\ lol Have her own thing going.

  8. Yeah, Dinah really does deserve better. I'd be all for her breaking up with Ollie, but unfortunately I know she'd wind up back with him eventually...

Eh, I'd rather if he just said one or the other. It would give him more of an edge, you know? It kind of reminds me of a little kid who'll say something close to a curse, but won't actually curse.

  9. Yeah their always gonna orbit each other, like Dick and Babs.

Lol good point, so you'd like to just see Lobo just be completely rated R eh?

  10. Except I like Dick and Babs together! They're perfect for each other, while Ollie and Dinah, not so much!

Yeah man! I'd love to see Lobo just running wild, cursing at and then killing everything in his path. Oh yeah, plus I'd get him the HELL away from those dumb space dolphins he hangs out with as well! I don't know why DC seems like they want to make Lobo... playful I guess. He should be more like Wolvie or even Slade if you ask me.

  11. Dick and Babs need to just hook up instead of her always dating random other guys, like that new cop in Batgirl.

Agreed. Lobo has murdered everyone on his planet, why's he playing with Dolphins. He should be a force, hell he should be able to tango with the biggest and baddest and be feared like Slade or Sinestro.

  12. Agreed. Why do they keep dancing around each other is my question... We ALL know they should be together, so what's the frigging hold up?

Hmm, you know, mentioning Sinestro makes me think about Lobo in the Sinestro Corps... Man would he fit there perfectly since half of the universe is terrified of him already. The only problem would be the fact that Lobo only works for money or honor, and I doubt Sinestro would give him either.

  13. I feel like once they finally do get together someone's gonna end up dead. There's nowhere to go but down once that happens.

You're right, I could see Lobo trying to take the corps from Sinestro. Hell the way he's with those Dolphins, he could probably join the Indigo Lanterns now.

  14. Like some kind of Romeo and Juliet? I don't know, on one hand I CAN really see then together as man and wife, but on the other hand, I can easily see them remaining friends forever. Hey, then again, with the current direction the DCU is heading, maybe Babs will regain the use of her legs again, and can become Batgirl, while Dick goes back to being Robin... Right now, I put nothing past DC!

"Hell the way he's with those Dolphins, he could probably join the Indigo Lanterns now."HA!!!!!! It's funny 'cause it's true!!!

  15. I love the phrase Man and wife, like Husband is just not worth saying so it's Man and wife. And yeah, I could see both. Lol @ you, I'd like her to walk but since this is time travel DC, she'll just get shot again, and again, and again. And right now DC puts the past in front of everything!

Lol yeah, He's probably secretly Indigo-1. Also, does that mean the other members are Indigo-2, and so on?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Huh, you know, I'd never really thought about that... I wonder why it isn't husband and wife... Weird.

Ha! It's like some kind of awful episode of the Twilight Zone!

I think the other Indigos have names, which is really strange... Does that mean Indigo-1 named the Corps after herself like Sinestro did, and it just so happened she had a color for a name? Because that would be really convenient!

    ReplyDelete
  17. Yeah it just looked odd when ya typed it out. And exactly, I was so thinking Twilight zone!

Lol we're gonna find out Sinestro means Yellow on his planet, just wait and see.

  18. "Lol we're gonna find out Sinestro means Yellow on his planet, just wait and see." Ha! Well then everything makes perfect sense now!

    ReplyDelete
  19. Lol my Dad asked me why the hell Yellow was the color of fear and I had no idea, any answers I should give him?

    ReplyDelete
  20. That's a damn good question! I mean really, who looks at the color yellow and thinks, "Damn, that's scary!!!"

All I can say is that Geoff Johns had to come up with a reason Green Lantern's powers wouldn't work on the color Yellow back in the day, which led to Parallax being yellow, and as the patron saint of the Sinestro Corps, I guess they decided to adopt his/its color scheme... That's my best guess...

  21. Lol @ "Damn, that's scary!!!" Exactly what I was thinking. I'll use that excuse then, the Parallax one. I like that Geoff made it make sense instead of just ignoring it too.
