That's Gladiator, one of the Shi'ar. I can't remember what he was doing in this comic though (other than beating the hell out of The Thing, I mean)...man, I really need to read John Byrne's FF again!
Heh heh, you know what Kello, I probably could if I wanted to!
Yup, Marc beat me to the explanation, that's exactly who that guy is. Gladiator was under the impression that the FF were Skrulls(I think)so he decided to stomp on them. It's one of those famous super-hero misunderstandings. I think the Skrulls were actually impersonating the X-Men at the time or something. Oh, and Marc, you should check out Kello's second blog, he's been going over a lot of the old John Byrne FF books there.
Man oh man, he knocked The Thing into fine Marble....
ReplyDeleteYou should just do a "Great Scott" week.

Thanks, I didn't even realize Kello had a second blog! Very cool stuff.
ReplyDeleteNow I think Kello owes me some sort of finders fee! :D
