DC Universe: Last Will and Testament #1(Oct. 2008)

Deathstroke week wouldn't be complete without a scene from possibly my favorite one-shot of all-time, DC Universe: Last Will and Testament... This comic is so incredibly awesome, it deserves TWO pics!

  1. This is the issue that proved to me that Deathstroke definitely is one of my top five favorite villains. Man this was such a great comic. Meltzer must love Deathstroke.

  3. *Gasp* You've never read DCU: Last Will and Testament, Falisha?!? JT, you've GOT to hook her up with that comic!

  4. I could've sworn I'd given it to her but she has like 60 other comics to read that she hasn't yet. Lol but I shall check and see if I have it still or if she does.

  5. Lmao. Now I really feel like I'm missing out. I'll make sure next time I go over his house I get it from him. May even read it right then and there. Lol.

  6. Sounds like Falisha has the same problem I have, too many comics to read and not enough hours in the day to read 'em all! As JT can attest to though, DCU: Last Will is def worth taking the time to read.

  7. Yeah she has WAY too many comics and way too little time, whereas I have a ton of time and no comics. :( lol and I gave her my copy X

  8. I honestly wish I had the time to just sit back relax get the ipod playing some good classical music, and read til my eyes are tired and heavy. I just sit and look at my comics on the shelf and go to work or class and end up sad. lol. I want to read!!! I gave up reading novels to read comics...lol. Can't even enjoy it.

And my last day of classes for winter break, DCU: Last Will will be the FIRST thing I read. And I will be back with my review! :D

  9. Ha. Poor JT, with no comics to read! I'm at the point now where I don't think I'll EVER finish up all of the back issues I've managed to acquire and not read yet... I think I could literally spend a week doing nothing but reading comics, and STILL not finish everything!

Ah, I'll def be looking forward to that, Falisha. Hopefully me and JT didn't hype it up so much that it can't reach the high expectations we set for it...

  10. A review?! I wanna see that, and just incase you just meant a talk to us, I'm gonna challenge you, with X as my witness, to post a review on that comic. You can even post it at my blog if you'd like. :)

  11. Lmao @ still not finish everything. I feel the same way. I just go to J's house collect issues he's read and never get around to them. They just sit and collect dust on the shelf. Lol. I know bad Lisha. I figure after this semester, or even next week, I'll get to them.

And It will be done X. I'm super excited about doing some artistic things this upcoming week. Maybe even get a X-Man sketch in....who knows. I have a really awesome friend who may be excited about that. :D

And JT, you know me far too well. You KNOW I don't back down from a challenge. I'll even do you one better, when I get home from classes tomorrow (before Ugly Betty), I will read Last Will AND post a review. You're on buddy. You got the competitive streak in me going.

  12. Wooo-yeah, a Falisha penned review! I'll be looking forward to that! Nicely done JT!

I'm worse then that, I go to eBay, collect issues, and then they end up scattered all around my comic book room collecting dust!

An X-Man sketch?!? I'll tell you right now, you do an X-Man sketch, and I'll be saving it on my computer! It may even wind up as my desktop background! Hmm, maybe this weekend I'll have to conveniently post a few X-Man pics here...

  13. Thank you, thank you very much. Lol, turns out she's already read it and she didn't remember until she cracked it open again. As for yesterday we both had horrible headaches but I'm sure her review is coming soon lol.

Hm...an X-Man sketch sounds pretty awesome. I think X should post it at his blog. :P Lol Jk but that does sound awesome, maybe someone should draw a certain former Robin/Red Robin/Red Hood.

  14. This book was incredible. Maybe the best thing to come out of Final Crisis (in addition to the return of Barry Allen obviously!).

  15. "Maybe the best thing to come out of Final Crisis" I couldn't agree with that statement any more, Yedna. I would slightly alter your last line and say, "in addition to the return of BART Allen!"
