Starman #38(Jan. 1998)

Hey look, it's Blue Devil and Firestorm talking about stuff! Ugh, that resounding thud was the sound of Firestorm week(mercifully!!!)coming to an end! I'm not 100% sure what Marvel character I'll be spotlighting for the upcoming week, but I'm sure it'll be better then Firestorm week was!

  1. I feel like putting Firestorm and Blue Devil together is just a recipe for Eddie to tell "Hot Damn!" Hm... may I suggest a certain Stormin Norman Osborn for Marvel week?

  2. A Norman "Marvel" Osborn week? Hmm, I don't know, I just did a Spidey villain last week... I don't know if I want to come back with another one right away...

I was going to do a Dazzler week, but after how lackluster Firestorm week was, I'm kind of backing away from that(sorry Kello!). Right now I'm leaning towards a Magneto week, if for no other reason then how AWESOME the dialogue would be!

  3. Hm... I forgot Kello even pitched Dazzler week or I wouldn't have even said anything. At least with Magneto week you should have a lot of material.

  4. Man, a Leech week?!? That would be even worse then Firestorm week was!

  7. Well, his power does kindof end all kinds of mutant fights by him just being here, so yeah... If he was a villain it would be different, an interesting fight, and maybe a campaigner against those with powers, how he's the cure, etc. A more personal version of the common X-Men story?

  8. Damn, you know, a villain with Leech's powers WOULD work pretty well! I like the idea of him being an insane crusader type who believes he's there to save humanity from the mutant menace, one mutant at a time. Those powers are just wasted on somebody like Leech...
